The Brookfield Soccer Club offers several in-house programs for ages 4 to 13, each with age appropriate instruction geared toward specific development goals. Scroll down to register for the appropriate age/gender.
U6 Rec Program
(4 and 5 year olds / birth years 2017 and 2018)
This program is offered in the Spring and Fall and includes a 60-minute session on Saturday mornings for 8 weeks total. All sessions are held at Cadigan Park, times may vary. All kids will be divided into teams of 8-10 prior to the start of the season. Each team will require two parent volunteers to help assist our trainers and keep all kids on task. BSC has partnered with AC Connecticut and we rely on our professional trainers to run each session, develop lesson plans that will keep the kids engaged, learning and having fun!
Requirements: each child must bring their own soccer ball (size 3), water bottle, shin guards and cleats (preferably). Team t-shirts will be passed out Week 1!
U8 Rec Program
(6 and 7 year olds / birth years 2015 and 2016)
This program is offered in the Spring and Fall and includes one 60-minute weekday practice (specific day varies) and one 60-minute game on Saturday mornings for 8 weeks total. All sessions are held at Cadigan Park, times may vary. All kids will be divided into teams of 8-10 prior to the start of the season. Each team will require two parent volunteers to help assist our trainers and keep all kids on task. BSC has partnered with AC Connecticut and we rely on our professional trainers to run each session, develop lesson plans that will keep the kids engaged, learning and having fun! Parent volunteers will be responsible for 'coaching' each Saturday game without the trainers. In U8, the kids will begin to play on a larger field, with 7 players total including a goalie. We depend on volunteers from the BHS girls and boys teams, as well as some of our older travel players, to 'referee' each game. This really starts to give the kids a feel for the game.

U9 - U14 Rec Program
(8 to 13 year olds / birth years 2010 - 2014)
An in-town option for our older kids to play soccer if they are not interested in joining our travel league. This program is offered in the Spring and Fall and includes one 60-minute weekday practice (specific day varies) and one 60-minute game on Saturday mornings for 8 weeks total. All sessions are held at Cadigan Park, times may vary. We rely on our professional trainers from AC Connecticut to run each session, develop lesson plans that will keep the kids engaged, learning and having fun! We also have volunteers from the BHS girls and boys team to help assist and referee for scrimmages. This group will be divided up based on age and playing ability, but will be co-ed teams.
